My family, whim, luckily has one sister who owns the best day care center
in town, NAEYC accredited. All my grandchildren and nieces and nephews and children have always had a place to go and be around family. They also knew that their family ran the place and became little princes and princesses. One niece, her mom owns the center, said at the age of four, "Fire her, Mommy, she won't let me read instead of napping!" As tho' her mom would side with her and not the teacher.
I have always said, "Yes", whenever possible to my children, about watching their children. Then I know which Nut is Caring for Them and just how wild the care might get!!!

I bless God every day...
for giving me a mother who refuses to see her grandchildren in day care. She keeps my boys for free so that I can work without fear for my boys. As a single mom, work is not really a choice for me, and it's the most wonderful blessing in the world to be able to go off every morning knowing that my kids are in good hands --- better, probably, than my own!
