I've watched the entire Schiavo case with a mixture of horror and anger. Anger in that people can be so ridiculous and petty. Horror that anyone who has seen someone in the condition that Terri Schiavo is in can possibly think that they can recover to anything near normalcy. I just feel very sorry for everyone involved, especially the parents who could not bear to let their daughter go quietly and with dignity. Given the current regime's ultra conservative reactionism, I suspect that they will pounce on this with great glee for the religious right. Sigh.

I don't think I have an answer to that question
however, this is the first time that I have read about the happenings in this battle. I can see where people will now be inclined to ensure takes place in the event of something like this happening to them.
