if you are looking in one place for help, you'll miss the others that are right in front of you. so true.

I've had similar experiences...help doesn't always come from where you would expect it.

I can really identify with your post this morning. i turned my back on everything my parents taught me, and became something i now see was crucial for my own good. it was a tough growing period for me. sometimes i feel a flicker of that old self, but i know it no longer has any power. good to hear from you.

avant - I knew that without you even telling me.    It is a horrible thing to be responsible for another's life and to make a wrong decision.

avant-garde, whoever it was or whatever, you will never forget the incident and never cease to be thankful.

I do like that kind of story! (Well not the almost getting hit by a train part, but you know what I mean...)

it didn't dawn on me that it might not have been a real person until later.

Wow...glad you heeded the warning of the angel, supernatural or human.
