Very nice article. How would you hahdle a professional recruiter who wanted your references before sending you on an interview? I'd heard these rules and initially stated that I would be happy to provice references at a later point after the intervew, and sent only a resume. She contacted me and said they needed the references before sending me on an interview...I didn't feel like I had any choice there, but am not sure sending them at that point was the right thing to do.
