You win, majroj.   As Samantha weighs almost - or perhaps more - than I do, we are going to be in trouble when she gets older and we get older.   Castors is a good idea, majroj.   Thanks.

I spent a half hour ths morning carrying a cat in the backyard.
Adjusting furniture for sunbathing...just keep the items light or on casters...

You've got a point here, majroj.  And here I am 2 years later moving the furniture to let the mutt lie in the sun.  Some thing never change.

McNAb, better than her pawing through the miniblinds.

Been there.

Happy Thanksgiving, 2007.

LMAO, John.    You make yourself sound so hen-pecked and I know you are not.   But it makes for good writing.   LOL

What a man won't do for a dog (or for an Ell who tells him to do for a dog)

Anthony

Do you mean to tell me that cats aren't devious?

JohnMCNab
Yup, now I know why I like cats.

That's if she

doesn't figure out how to stangle what she must think of as her useless, good-for-nothing owner first.

You are laying down a vast library of knowledge, MA which will come in very handy when your 3 and 1 year old have their own children, and don't know how to cope - trust me.

Hollee
ROFLMAO, Hollee.  With a timetable like that have you ever considered a career in air-traffic control?

Inns
I discovered that I was allergic to kittens many years ago.  It was probably this allergy which persuaded Ell to breed rabbits just as many years ago.  That would be when I was taken to hospital and needed two injections to keep me breathing, much to Ell's disgust.  Since then - no cats - or rabbits.

I'm coming to the same conclusion, gypsy.

McNab - yuppers - it's my job everyday to let in one cat, let out one dog,
let back in one cat, feed both cats, give dog his chewy, and open drapes for all three so they can stare out at the swamp that is our backyard. Every single freaking day - same thing - 6 a.m. Then I sit down with my first cup of coffee and all three sit on me and stare at me.

It could be worse...
You could have a set of little girls 3 and 1 who expect you to cater to them - who won't pee when you want them to DO try to strangle themselves with the blind cords!

If catering to your dog is making you nutty, be thankful you don't have a..
cat, lol.
