Marketing may have been the only reason for
III, which may be the reason why it came off a bit like a hack-and-slash horror film. Even Sam Neill couldn't save it.

I loved Jurassic Park I & II
However, I was disappointed in part III. Hopefully Jurassic Park IV: The Extinction will bring some respect back to the series--since THEY HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE.
The problem with part III, I believe, is that they only were trying to sell toys.
