renigade3

Until I came to Canada I hadn't seen one either, renigade.   The one on the river isn't as big as I expected.  It is relatively small about the size of a small island ferry, but I assume it is all weight and power.

Isn't 'cavorting' a lovely word?  I'd prefer to do the cavorting in the snowdrops - as long as I was wearing all my winter gear.

My favourite flowers are snowdrops.  When I see them popping up and looking around them, I know it's spring.

Wish you could post a pic. I've never seen one before and it sounds
really neat.  I know, I need to get out more...

McNab cavorting in the daffodils - like Tiny Tim tiptoeing (sp?) through
tulips - always the frist sign of Spring.

I'll shoo it your way, gypsy, but after looking out at the minus 11 this morning I think yesterday was just a flash in the pan.

I'm sorry kingmi...
I just could not resist when you mentioned the crunching word.  Don't worry you're fine, it's me who is being a little punchy.  And john, how very ungallant of you to blame me.  Personally, I would have blamed Tapsel...

Kingmi
I'm going to blame theinnkeepersdaughter (well I'm certainly not going to blame myself, am I Inns?), for your confusion.  When you mentioned there was no more crunching in my 'News Flash' post, she was commenting about the previous blog regarding Easter eggs.  Let's put it this way Kingmi - you were correct

JohnMcN, sorry, I'm lost again.  You said crunching in the St. Lawrence Seaway, wasn't it? In Iowa we're a few degrees above that.

Thanks Kingmi.  I think you've been kidnapped by Inns.

We went to the zoo today John,
and only had to wear full snow gear to participate in the Easter Festivities... Sigh... At least the bears are liking the weather.

I'm looking them out as we speak.  This is where I find out I'd better get some exercising in as they probably won't fit me.  Just call me fat gut, Inn.
