Gome, listen, it's more simple than you think,
Christ conveyed to the human race that excessive concentration upon the rectification of past sins was self-defeating because if one is presently successful in expanding their inner good, then the past sin is nothing more than a learning phase. So the proper forum for personal spiritual contemplation is the present and future, not the past; and the catalyst for forgiveness is committing oneself to a future path of goodness. Remember, fashion your beliefs, not in reaction, but by self-justified pieces sequentially erected upon the naked framework of your conscious. In this way, the positive attributes of many things become illuminated.

I respectfully disagree. Jesus loves the world, even those who

disagree and make fun of Him.

i agree that when we set out to copy another and make it law that it defeats the purpose. i have read that if Jesus were to return today, modern day christians would reject him for the same reason the jews did back then: because he taught a very simple message that took power away from them. great post.

man-boy -- how have you been?
Yep, I think it is high time that the concept of original sin is recongnized for what it really is: A subscription ploy by the Roman Catholic church. Get those babies in here for christining pronto soes we can begin imprinting guilt and fear on them from an early age. I wouldn't let my children be a part of it either.

Gomedome. Hi there!

Yup. I have chosen not to allow my children to be infected by the concept of sin or 'original' sin.

Life is weird enough without purposefully tainting their sensibilities regarding themselves.
