avant-garde -- you are too kind
I don't feel I deserve any of the accolades you are bestowing on me but thank you very much all the same.

Odysseus -- again nuances of definition
If I had of authored the line that you used as an example I would have left out "by faith in it's correctness" but this is not to say that I do not agree with the underlying principle.

That as it may be, you have agreed already with at least some aspect of #4. Remember, our discussion of issue #1 in your belief system: “the basic supportive consciousness underlies everything else that we perceive and we support everything else upon this consciousness, by faith in its correctness. Piece by piece.” Our previous agreement here would imply at least an acknowledgement for the existence of a perception of truth, toward which we can strive. Do you agree? - Avant is correct at least in the sense that it’s time for a little break. I must take leave of you for a few days (you’re probably glad) for a little recreational jaunt. Take care, my friend!

it's obvious that you are a deep thinking individual, who lets no one interfere with what you feel is true. the best course of action for you to take, to save your own peace of mind, is not to wrangle with odysseus(?)in the first place. your last post was outstanding, as is this one. there are many of us here in this category who do not want to prove ourselves right, but merely speak what we have been given. I found, for instance, that by apologizing to you sincerely, you gave me back a spectacular idea. you are an answered prayer, sir. i would've never known it if I were dead set on proving you 'wrong'. thank you for being here and contributing.

Odysseus -- no I cannot agree that they all exist

The closest I can come to agreeing with the 4 points you have made is that our subliminal and sub-conscious influences have a lot more complexity and substance than we are capable of comprehending.

Could you agree that any or all of the following exist? (1) a pervasive universal spirit manifesting itself to all men via the conscience, (2) an impetus for goodness in all things, (3) a collective spirit, (4) truth.
