Regarding her likely death, I take courage in the realization that her life is in God's hands and that he is walking with her through the valley of the shadow of death.  Thanks for your comments.

Beautiful, Jane.
As I observe Holy Week I'm struck by the parallel. Why do people want to see this woman die? What truth do the fear? I pray that in her suffering Christ sends his angels to minister to her. This murder is too awful to contemplate.

And, at least, his executioners gave Him vinegar on a sponge to drink.  Terri hasn't even been given that...
