Back in High School I hung out with a whole lot of potheads, so I have a real good idea of what I am talking about. Now if you read my post again you will see I classify those that stay up for days at a time as being different from the normal ones. As far as I knew they were not on anything else at the time they stayed up for several days in a row. They just ended up not getting around to going to bed, kind of as if they forgot they needed to. It seemed that normally it would be based around weekends with multiple parities going on, so they never really got around to the sleep part of it all.

i might just know a few more potheads then you do
and they tend to SLEEP more than other people... not the other way around. Hell, with the mass of pot-smokers in this country, if all of them got off their lazy stoned asses and voted, there'd be no drug war.
See, I think you're thinking of potheads that happen to dabble in crank, coke, meth, etc
They'll stay up for a few days. Most potheads don't get off a couch much longer than to travel to another couch. lol
