I've always liked
Denzel and now I like him even more. We can but hope that before long those houses will be virtually empty. As well as the medical wards.

I appreciate you letting me know.  It was not my intention to offend anyone.  I also did not realize that you were a Marine.  My brother in law is in the Air Force-- you know how those guys are  lol.  I get several messages from different sources for this post and unfortunatly my schedule does not always allow me to validate the information.  Its a hear say much of the time.  Again Thanks for reading and sharing information that you know in regards to this post.

Strickgold I am not questioning anything this has been an urban legend
and it is partially true, he did make a large donation but not on the spot and the two sons ages and whereabouts have been documented. I just hate seeing things like this pumped up when it is not true and being an ex-marine I get offended when I hear his kid is in the marines when he is not.

my source is reliable source -- my brother in law who was there when this took place.. As far as his son serving in Iraq again this came from the same source and since I dont keep up with the ages of celbrities kids I cant say what the ages of his children are.  Thanks for reading.. Keep reading, writing and smiling

Although this is a great story

it is not entirely true. He did make a substantial contribution later to Fisher House, but he did not whip out his check book there on the spot.

And to set the record straight, he DOES NOT have a son in Iraq or in the marines. One son is 13 years old the other is 21 and is in Morehouse College in Atlanta.
