mothers are amazing!
My mother would of done something like that as well.  And I am sure you were very grateful!

Why thank you, Shawn!

I do wish to be fair minded although I do have a tendency to blow my stack at times -- and then have to go back and apologize. . . .

My time in Salzburg and other European countries left me with some wonderful memories.  Glad to share them!

Thank you for This Entry and For Your Response
...to my news and politics posting.  You seem fair-minded, the precious part of our electorate we need to hear more from.

This piece was fun to read.  I especially enjoyed the part about relishing your 'romp' through the old city with just a few coins in your pocket.  You were there because that kind of circumstance didn't phase you.

Very nice.    --Shawn, "Tall and Skinny Politico"

Ah Burly,

you are very kind.  Sorry to not respond sooner.  I've been rather away from Blogit for awhile and don't know if I'll be returning.  New job, very busy, stressed, etc.  But thanks for your comments on this.

I do have fond memories of my time in Europe!

Hi Lady so good to have you back. I loved this story. It gave me chills
a time or two. I have been without and saw no funds coming, but I was not away from all whom I held dearest.

JanesO - That doesn't sound good.   I did that once and I hope never to do it again.

Taps -- hear, hear!
And I'm not 40 yet, but felt danged old today having wrenched my back out of joint.
