Hey, I kept all of my english books too!
I just graduated from UCLA last summer. Where did you go to school? Everyone is a poet--they just have to realize it first. I'm new, check my blog out sometime.

I get the same reaction
when I tell people I write. It's ususally followed by "oh, I would love to do that." Why don't they is the age old question I've given up on trying to answer

I tell people that I write
posts for blogs. With the attention blogging is getting these days, they are usually quite impressed.

Glad you dug this one out
again. Like it says writing is simply someone who preforms the act of writing. Being a Poet is someone who write poetry. At the begining we don't have to give them all the details, just our title.
