As long as the human race insists on refusing to be open-minded and intelligent, yes, discrimination will always exist, where it be skin-color, sexual preference, sexism, being overweight, being American, whatever.

I couldn't disagree with you more on that topic..go figure.

But here is a interesting fact about the international criminal court. I had two friends both democrats who went to be peacekeepers in Bosina...they both were heavily in favor of the US joining the international criminal court until they returned home. They told me that the antiamericanism was so bad they would never have a fair trial in the ICC (this was before Bush was even in office) They were both African Americans and they swore that they would have a better chance of getting a fair trial in Alabama with an all white jury in the 1960's...I said "come on seriously it can't be that bad?" They both said they wish they were kidding. So can we trust any international court to deliver justice? Will there always be discrimination?

Mattl,

Good points! But hollywood is out to make money! Does violent films give people the license to commit crimes? We all have to seperate life from art!

I will agree with you a bit...about the corp. media stuff. You want hear about talking out of two sides of your mouth. Try hollywood! They produce the war films you were talking about, and then the stars who star in them protest the war. Hmm?
