MandaLee,

I wish I could have come up with something more original to say yesterday, in congratulations.  I get very bored with trite words, whether supportive or in disagreement.  Trite words fail to convey the true extent of the speaker's feelings, and I really am happy for you that you have this opportunity.  I think the basic element of this happiness is because I can relate to it.  I am seeking, among other things, the same type of opportunity; I would like to land a regular column in some newspaper or newsletter or the like, as well as go to school to become a teacher.  That you have this opportunity is an inspiration, then.  It's good for you and bodes well for all similarly committed people!

As for today's post, winter can indeed be wonderful and idyllic, if that's the word for outdoor beauty.  Did you say you live in Maryland, too?  I don't remember for sure.  Anyway, I live not far west of Baltimore and we just got a nice blanket of snow yesterday that has survived today, and thus guaranteed two straight days of no-school for my 5th-grade sister and no-teaching for her shiftless 21-year-old brother!

Very true.  The four seasons are equally beautiful and unique in their own special ways.  We often forget that each is a time of beauty, blessing rebirth and renewl.

Have a wonderful day, Manda!!

God bless.
