Volunteering at a free, week-end daycare for low income families and having my whole family get involved eventually. A multi effort that created some of the closest and most rewarding times we enjoyed together.

tough question...
mothering my two children, and seeing them turn into great human beings who care for others and help others. My 17 year old volunteered at a free clinic last year. My 24 year old is teaching needy kids.

The time I collected $400, bought Christmas gifts, and dropped them off at
the local homeless shelter. I make it a point to do something like this on a regular basis now.
