Yes, I'm afraid this is rattling around in there...it gets darker, but I haven't put it here. I embrace the dark and the light....I think if we fight the dark it stays around longer. I have no idea of that's right, but I write it all just the same. :)

A step into the light needed, indeed. Nice to see you, too! Thanks for reading and leaving a comment. :)

I say that to myself a lot...darkest before the dawn...
But, it's hard not to wonder...how much longer will this last? Like, am I trapped in some episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where it's some kind of perma-dark and dawn is not coming...actually that was Angel....anyway, I know you are with me in spirit, baby, but in the quiet moments....in the loudest moments...I sit here alone. It's so hard. I miss you.

Symphony, it's good to know that I'm not alone on this...
But I'm sorry to hear that you can relate to it at the same time.

I hate that this poem reflects what is in your head and heart right now. Take care of yourself.

Baby, try to remember that old saw about it being darkest before the dawn..
I am with you in spirit, even when I can't be there...I'm calling you now...
