Thanks for the encouragement!
Great piece, and a great message. Of course it is a subject close to my heart. I work mostly in the belief end of it, as you can see from my post "I am a Writer" from the other day. Thanks for a good reminder of who we claim to be.

Me, I think of myself as a story teller. what I write is mainly for money or to put traing material together of other people.

What a writer is
One fellow i know answered the question like this: "if you write then you are a writer, there are no qualifications to become one." Now becoming a published writer or a good writer, that's another ball game. I enjoyed your take on how you become a writer. You made some valid points.
