each day could be the last
we ought to realize that
we ought to realize also that
we are part of everything around us.
we should be contributing to the weal of everything
it's attitude
we hold others sacred and we in turn are held sacred.
and yes we are saved -- grace saves us automatically
once we are in the mode where we understand that then we begin realizing ouir responsibility toward all that is.

Grace
I believe only threw Grace you are saved. I also believe that everyone on this earth or eternity do not all have the same job to do. We are trained for a spititual purpose. I belive the earth is a training planet for the growth of the soul.

EHP
I'm not sure I buy the rapture stuff either. It's a whole lot of doctrine based on a very few bible verses. I will say, however, that if it means that we should live every day, every moment as if it could be the last then that part I can handle.

Painter -
Great post! And a great line - "If you don't hold God's creations as sacred, how can you hold God sacred?" That sums it up.
