As the granddaughter of a Presbyterian minister, I was always amazed at the difference and "superior" attitude just among the various churches I visited with my grandfather.  Were you USA?  Reformed?  Heaven help you if you didn't go to the "right" church?  I always wondered how churches could come together if there was so much drama within the churches, let alone between them.  Good post.  I enjoyed it.

In this world today you will not find complete perfections. The sin has grown to many years since the world was made. The sin itself has grown to much. We ourselves can not stop all the evil no matter how much we try. But we can set a good example in Life for others.

I think 'Christian nation' is an oxymoron. Christ taught individuals how to get closer to their creator by leaving behind the desire for the trappings of this world. Nations are the result of the strength that comes from people joining forces to build better defenses and make better products to sell. There's nothing wrong with holding and doing a good job, and a well defended nation is great for the kids and their futures, but it has nothing to do with getting closer to God.

I agree. I think that many Christians have a rather narrow outlook on this universal religion. And I have often wondered what it means to be a Christian nation, based on exactly what you are asking.
