that your courteous relationship with your readers maybe the reason for your longevity.  MayB, another talented bloger posed the question as to wheter we owe our readers an explanation when we leave, I suggested that  saying goodbye is appreciated by most and so is to say thanks, all the best and thanks for the thanks

I am thinking of doing the same,

or definitely donating some money whether from my Blogit earnings or not.  I know it's easy to find charities online, but I am always concerned about credibility.  Which charities are really going to spend it on relief and not bureaucratic crap or, God forbid, terrorism?  The Red Cross?  May I ask which organization you are donating to, just to get some advice?
