Update on Rep. Rangel
I heard Mr. Rangel interviewed by Sean Hannity concerning Howard Dean's racist-sounding remark (see posting, "Double Standards? What Double Standards?"). While Mr. Rangel indulged in more far-left political nonsense, he revealed himself to be a man of integrity about racially charged language, condemning it regardless of who utters it. I honor him for taking such a stand. It was also mentioned that he served in Korea, and I thank him for his service.

You are the worst kind of propagandist ...
what Charlie Rangel said, in plain English, is why is it the responsibility of the Democrats to advance a plan on Social Security when a) the Dems don't see a "crisis", and b) neither do the Republicans in Congress. The president has no plan that he has submitted, Bill Frist in the Senate says a Social Security bill can't be forced on the public, and in the House William Thomas said he's not even going to bring the matter up in his committee.

And you condemn the Democrats for not having an alternate plan?
