I am 100% with you.
I have been a member of the NRA for about 20 years, and plan to renew this month. The biggest problem in this country is that people are afraid of guns because of criminals, and they somehow believe that making guns illegal will eliminate them. Wow! That's smart. Criminals, by definition, do not obey laws. Making guns illegal for criminals is no problem at all for criminals. That's a minor charge that will probably get dropped in a baloney plea deal, which is to say that it is a bargaining chip for the criminal. Wow! That's smart.
