Funny thing - I was talking about The Index to a friend of ours, and he had no idea what I wa talking about, and he's a good catholic!
I did have a rebellious period, when I was young: I went out of my way to read as many of the books on the index as I could find - was disappointed when I found that most of them were not worth reading!
