Could you explain to me (if you know) why the American govt seems
to believe tht Yusuf Islam is working with terrorists? It can't be merely because he converted...Or at least I'd hope not. I'd be interested to know...

I was a fan of Cat Stevens before his conversion and his abandonment of his art, by all accounts Yusef has has done many good works since then. I'll be the first to admit my knowledge of Islam is limited to what I read in the newspapers and normally dismiss that as propoganda or misifnformation. Creativity is a Gift from God, it is meant to be shared, it is an extension of the spirit. Yusef is merely returning to the source of his essence by sharing his talents with the rest of us.
