Thanks for reading, And, T rat, thanks to you especially for demonstrating what passes for dialogue and commentary amongst the Bush-haters who can't bear to be proven wrong.

I don't care what party you follow but everyone should be happy, I know

I am because I may not agree with Bush and his policies but now they have their vote lets move on. Let me see what is next. Same with the elections here in the US, we all have to move on.

I do think though the Iraqis have to step up and start handling things in their own country. We can't drop more billions into their country and hold their hands forever.

Next we have to see;

 1-What difference did this invasion of Iraq really have on terrorism? I think it is to soon to tell.

2-Will Iraq hold its own or will an all out civil war breakout whether in weeks to come or after we finally leave. It is wait and see.

Writeroflight,
just completely disregard what the sniveling t-rat has to say.  It's obvious that he's just surfaced after a long feeding frenzy with a slew of vulgar sewage snarfing ugly monster rats.  As far as I'm concerned, your post was great, and we have a lot to be thankful for with the success of the Iraqi election.

Hey idiot, all this shows is that 150,000 troops plus 200 billion dollars
plus overhwhelming lethal force can buy an election day. Moron, at least get a clue and be in favor of invading Cuba, a country that hicks like yourself can enjoy gambling at. Get a clue dumbass.
