Let Me Turn on the TV to See What I Think Today
Could it be for the same reason so many people go to the movies or watch FOX NEWS -- i.e. to escape from reality? Perhaps some people prefer the comfort and security they get from living in denial so that they don't have to face the consequences of a policy of perpetual war and of living off of the cheap labor and raw resources of other countries. They believe Bush/Cheney because their neighbors believe Bush/Cheney, and their neighbors believe Bush/Cheney because that's the popular opinion they get from TV.
