Hey you! I thought you were
long gone. Very thoughtful of you to give to the tsunami relief, very beachbelle. What do the Irish say? May the wind always blow at your back, may the sun always shine on your face... I can't remember the rest. I suppose the givers receive, receivers give, and then there are people like me. Sitting around complaining. Take care

The only times I close doors are against driving rain or snow or in a dust storm. Often I go through a door and walk and walk and walk and then find I am in a new place or occasionally (very rarely) go back where I started. In a community such as this sometimes we over-value the noisy and undervalue the readers. By stepping away from the noise one can think. Sometimes less communication is more. I don't miss you at all because you are one of the ones I drop in to and read. My comments which I used to make to you unerringly are not required.

I am doing what I want to do but I do unfortunately see some nasty and inane stuff which detracts from the experience. You write well and will over time attract the audience for that. I have found a great many like-minded people here - by that I mean people who can write interesting posts and discuss them no matter what there view is - and that is difficult thing to leave behind.

I too came to Blogit at a time when my husband was very ill and I needed an outlet and a voice. It has been great for me because I have made many on-line friends. It has helped me to devote time to my writing and believe it or not improve my skills. I look forward to hearing what is going on in others lives then my own doesn't sound so depressing or boring. ha
