I do like the blankie idea, though I get the feeling my little fmaily would appear to be throwing food at each other while the middle child chokes the baby with a blanket ... best laid plans...

3 children and no time for jello?

Dear Mother of Adorable Children;

     I have a helpful suggestion!  You have three children a cat and a crock pot, right?  Always looking at the bright side and assuming the cat runs off and the crock pot never gets returned, you still have the 3 little people. (Work with me here, do the math.)  One walks, one runs and one crawls, right?  So attach a food satchel to the walker, a roll of paper towels to the runner and a blankie to the crawler.  Since appearance is everything, at any given time, the walker will seem to be trying to feed the other two, the runner will appear to be cleaning up messes made by the other two and the crawler will look like she's napping and mommy covered her lovingly with her blankie.  Ah, the perfect family!

At least you didn't try to drop
your child off at pre-school on the day it was closed before Chirstmas... sigh... that was me. The worst part was trying to explain to Rachel that after all the excitment of getting ready she wasn't going to get to play with her friends. She was crushed and I felt like a GREAT BIG JERK!

LMAO!
That really sucks... But, it's good to know I'm not the only one who has this sort of thing happen!

LOL!
Oh that's priceless! But at least the soup will keep! I could picture you and your kids dragging into school. Great post! (And I did pick up on the 25th!) ;)
