Excellant thoughts all around. I was not aware of monkey pox until this had occurred. Cow pox of course, was the impeutus for the development of the small pox vaccine.

Monkey Pox
was brought to this country by an infected Gambian rat from Africa which was sold to a oet store that also had prairie dogs as pets.

Why is it called monkeypox when all of the cases have come from prairiedogs?
