RYN: The cd is one of my favorites, very sexy, very smooth. Here's the link to the review I wrote up about it: http://www.epinions.com/content_156994997892
Alas the other cd I listened to, a transcription of Modest Mussorgsky's music stunk. Phooey. http://www.epinions.com/content_170519334532

I try to ignore them, and when that doesn't work, make snarky remarks bout them, and then just ignore it some more. Usually that works. Hard to pester someone that doesn't respond... And no, don't reinvent yourself, you don't need to.

I hear you Beachy, but sometimes it's just worth the price. I did that with AOL, but it also helped that I was havinbg troubles with AOL too. But I did get rid of the pain in the butt.
But I do undestand your re-inventing yourself comment luv.

In a blog I posted last December, I was saying how a wonderful book I had read the previous evening had left me feeling like an illiterate scribbler. I think it was Angelz who remarked that the author in question wrote his way, and I wrote my way and there was room for both. In an earlier time, I was lucky to have a selfless teacher such as yours.

Beach, re the authorship.
I feel the same way about all the encouragment that you and Klara have given me. There is nothing in it for you but you have both been incredibly generous with advice and tips. Luckly I was listening!
You deserve this! Congrats!

BTW, thanks for you remark re authorship. I still can't quite believe it that this woman was so willing to help me and has given me wonderful material to start. When I spoke to her I said that she would be entitled to ask, "what's in it for me?" I said to her that I could only hope it was something she felt was worth contributing to. It seems she does.

Sometimes people blithely discuss things which are legitimate matters of concern for others. I am really referring to the culture which seems to be encouraged here that people should tough it out and not deal with certain behaviors through legitimate channels. Free speech is a fine thing but so is the possibility just to be able to go about your business in peace

I would find it impossible to reinvent myself here. All of the behaviors you mention I can handle just fine. It is when people act in more insidious ways that it becomes difficult.
I can assure you that you have not been a "pest"

Beach,
I have never had reason to complain about someone on Blogit, yet, but if I did it would have to be over something fairly serious and I would not feel obligated to make that public knowledge. Especially if it would result in moreof my personal life being exposed here and the potential for more abuse.
BTW if she wanted to write the book she would have, you came up with the idea and you are THE writer for it!

I can not imagine your having to recreate yourself to stay here because someone was a pest. If that person was I, then you should have told me. I do believe total tolorence brings zero tolorence because there are no boundries. Some people do not know when they are being a pest. Many people are offended or offend because backgrounds differ, many things. We should kindly be able to 'boldly' say. I can't or don't want to handle your behavior toward me. Or ask are you intentionaly being rude to me? If they find that funny or continue to be rude then you know they are just mean. Say what you need to so they get the point. Be it anyone.
