I'd heard of this before the supposed Oprah Winfrey slant and didn't believe it for a second. His personal feelings about such matters are of little importance, but as far as a corporation is concerned, there are only three colors: red, black, and green. A corporation wants the consumer's green for profits to stay out of the red and always in the black.
