Devilnme!
How long did your sis have to "wear" the mullet? Being trapped in bad hair is a recurrent nightmare of mine.

It was so bad. And the lady knew she messed it up to a point of hiding
oneself in the top of a church bell tower, she thought it best to downplay the tragedy. She remarked that it wasnt as bad as her haircolor...lol.. what a witch.

But sometimes.....lol..My sis got the WORST haircut I have ever seen..it
was a full blown mullet. She was in tears as the woman cut. But as all women know, after that first cut..it's all over. She cut 6 inches at the top. I felt SO bad for her, she looked SO horrible, and she knew I knew, and I knew she knew I knew... so I did it. "It looks good! Like Romy in "Romy and Micheles High School Reunion!" (That silly movie I loved at the time). If looks could kill, I would not be here.

I left two writing groups back in the UK because all I got was '
Oh what wonderful writing. You are so good,' when I knew it was a piece of crap. It took me a few months and a big head before I noticed this however, but the light did dawn and I did leave.

I like your last line. We forget sometimes to look elsewhere for better critics. (and hairdressers)

I like the comparison of editors to hairdressers. Both professions have good and bad ones.
