Good Assessment of the weekend...
I'm a lifelong Steelers fan, married to a lifelong Jets fan. Saturday was - to say the least - a tad painful for both of us. I think the Jets did a fantastic job and their offensive line needs a lot of credit for holding firm, especially when the offensive coordinator continues to make 'Huh?' calls. Just my opinion. Hopefully they are able to keep Jordan Lamont, he was pretty impressive.
Ah, Big Ben and his rookie mistakes. I nearly had a coronary with some of his passes. I'm hoping he takes some deep breaths this week and doesn't look half as frazzled as he did on Saturday. I like Cowher too but thought he showed a tad TOO much misplaced confidence in his young arm. They will have a lot of work to do this week.
I agree that the Colts need more defense but honestly, Manning looked completely at a loss on Sunday. His body language was even awkward and that was just in the first quarter. I don't think it was nerves but he certainly had the look of someone who was overwhelmed. And the defense did squat at even giving their own offense a chance to rest between possessions.
Michael Vick is an amazing athlete - I don't think the Falcons will win this weekend but they are a blast to watch!
I despise the Eagles but cannot help but be impressed by them this year. I am just hoping they lose.
