I was on coumadin for 13 years, since the age of 18 due to DVT. I have a congenital blood condition called Factor V Leiden. Anyways, it would be nice if they let you know from the beginning what the long term side effects are. I refused to take it 2 years ago. I decided that the cure was much more dangerous to my health than the cause. I'd like to see your thoughts on long term usage.
