I was talking to a friend of mine

kind of in the know about such things and he says most psychics, channelers, and the like struggle to make a living, often no matter how gifted. It's too bad really.

I'd believe a psychic before I'd believe a politician!

Ciel, very good post...I think there are genuine gifts of the spirit, like

discernment and wisdom, etc...plus, since we're all connected via energy, we sometimes pick up on each other's frequencies - hence the psychic connection.  I do think there's a lot of fraud out there, but like you said, even among the medical community it exists.

I'd much rather become more attuned to myself and my body then let a stranger with a few letters after his name do it.
