Excellent, Painter

You cover the transcended Christian beautifully--though, I don't know yet how to accept human sacrifice for my benefit.  Instead, Jesus was a revolutionary and Rome crucified him --justly or unjustly doesn't matter to me.  There are untold numbers of prosecuted "villians" who have been proven innocent after a time, even though it was too late, they were executed anyway.  I fully believe in the innocense of humanity, our nature perfect for this existance and our imagination is the answer for after life.  Like the wiccans, I do what I will, but very carefully consider that I do no harm.

Thanks for you post, I don't feel so alone any more.

Westwend -
Great post. Unfortunately, the fear of which you talk will keep people from nurturing these new perceptions.

Hi westwend.

Thanks for the heads up on this post.

Your thoughts parallel  mine in many ways.  I think Jesus worked with what he had at the time. A thinker such as he was would surely have seen beyond the anthropomorphic God of the people of the book . To be fair though most cultures seem to have been forced to fashion god into something. Anything.

I am quite happy to feel myself connected fractally with the rest of the cosmos I inhabit. I am unable to visualize God and I don't need to. All I have to do is open my eyes and sit still and listen and feel the wind... breath deeply... and see what needs doing.
