Lovely and thought inducing. Going against the tide becomes exhausting after awhile. Excellent poem Ca88andra.

littlems - I've promised myself that one day I will visit Darwin. I've heard so much about it. And you can have the weather down here, its far too cold for me!

I'll make you a deal - you can envy me for the waves and I'll envy you for the temperature down there. It is sticky and hot and humid, I can feel the sweat trickling down the back of my legs and it is 7.30 in the evening! LOL - Still, I love Darwin!

Red-headed Tadpole in a fishin' hole
He couldn't croak or jump to save his soul!
But then one day, it was the funniest thing!
Why, he started growin'!
And turnin' green!

Funny you should mention rhythm in this poem, this poem has rhythm. It flows so nice and free. It's as if the poem itself is alive...simply beautiful.
