It would be very vain of me to think that
I think it is more to do with my point of view being at odds with many.

The "church of the self-absorbed?"... pointing 3 fingers back at oneself is more like it.

I sat here wanted to write something to you....but its gone
and that is what usually happens to me...because although I read you and have taken everything you wrote in...I can never say anything intelligent or worthwhile....

I read as much as I can in as many posts as I can, but I don't always comment. Sometimes I just don't know what to say.

Most of the time, I write
what I'm feeling. I suppose that is completely self-absorbed. Observations are my expertise, but do not reflect reality for most people in some cases. Interesting blog Beachbelle :)

I've had it happen too. And on the ones that scarely recieved a peep, I always seem to get thrown for a loop -- was it something I said? And then the self-scrutiny begins. Silly, actually, as I really just use this to chronicle my days and how I am feeling. And to keep in touch with some very fine people, which helps with the isolation.

Beach, I'm glad to learn you feel this way;
and others do too. I thought I was the Lone Ranger.

yep. I understand about the timing but then I find if I don't get something down it gets overtaken by other ideas. In doing so I know it means people miss things. But blogging is the place to spew out ideas

Beach - I have found that I am absolutely no good at predicting which things I write will be read and responded to with comments. It is amazing to me how readers pick and choose. Some of it, I think, is timing. When I log on to Blogit, I tend to read and comment to what is being posted right then. I get so busy doing that I forget to go check people that I would like to keep up with.

Beach,
That does seem to happen an awful lot...it's as though by being fond of something you wrote, you sprayed it with "blogger repellent." I love Talion's quote, too! How apropo!

I agree...
...sometimes words just don't come...while I read you faithfully sometimes there is nothing else to say..you've said it all.

BB..
It is a strange sort of thing. I don't tend to comment if I can't do better than a "nice post". I read you quite often and enjoy your posts. They are always thoughtful. Talion is right. Sometimes you just can't say it better.
