Isn't fear the opposite of faith? My new year's resolution is to melt my swords and turn them into ploughs ... with a moderately watchful eye on my fields, of course!

Quirky...
Duly noted, however...every major problem I have ever endured can be traced back to a wayward passion somewhere along the line. A wayward passion is one that is out of context or against the interests of ones own character. They are still felt regardless...but not necesarily acted on.

I still think you should just let them all out of their cage and let the chips fall where they may. You may be pleasantly surprised that they don't ruin you after all!

Quirky...
My passions that are wayward...need to be tempered. The non-wayward passions are fine, but it is up to me to discern them, one from the other. Thanks for commenting.

Alf - This is the best of your three. It tells a lot about your character. I'm surprised you do not have women falling all over you. Well, maybe you do.

Alf,
I think tempering your wayward passions would be a monumental mistake.
Great poem, though!
