I remember days of staying up all night and watching the sunrise
I don't think I've pulled an "all-nighter" since my college days. But I do remember how beautiful the sunrise can be.
Back when I lived on Maui, we'd (we being me and some friend who was visiting the island) sometimes drive up to the top of Haleakala in the wee hours of the morning to watch the sunrise. It was sooooo beautiful. After the sunrise and the drive back down the mountain, we'd stop in some quaint shop for coffee and pastries, then head home to sleep for a few hours.

Tapsel, yes, I love the night... My earliest memory is of me and my
grandmother sitting outside and looking up at the stars...It was summer and clear as clear gets, here in Greece... Wow, what a time warp... thanks!

I knew there was something we had in common, void. I didn't know what it was until now. It is the night, ending in a beautiful sunrise. I love the night--always have from the time I was a kid. My Dad would take me outside and point out the stars and the constellations. We would lie on an old quilt on our backs and fly to the moon. I hate to go to bed at night. I feel as If I'm wasting the best part of life or that I am going to miss 0ut on something. I've lived my whole life getting just four or five hours sleep or even less because I didn't want to miss out on the night.
