Another thoughtful poem, Alf!  I like the "husk" metaphor.  It's the age-old question:  Do we enter Heaven by husk or by kernel?

I agree with Merry, Alf. You were missed and now you've come back
with work that's stronger even and better, if that's possible. A great read, Alf. Somewhat sad for me, but still it stirred me.
