Open to God's Work in Our Lives
Yes, I heard it said once that faith is not clinging to a rock, in fear of letting go -- rather, faith is trusting God enough to let go of that rock we cling to for security, and to swim with the current of where God is taking us. Clinging to the rock is akin to demanding that the outcome be what we want/expect/demand it to be -- but the will of God may have other paths for us to travel.
