the point being
what sanhet said in a previous comment

If the same thing had happened to a Christian, all the Christians would be praising and thanking god (which is quite fine) -- as if these miracles only happen to Christians.

as if God doesn't make miracles for Moslems.

The point being: since Christians think theirs is the only true religion, they also think that god only blesses Christians.

this story goes quite counter to that perception.

wouldn't you think that this was a miracle from God for a moslem just as it would be for a Christian?

and what was your point?

Miracles happen to people of all religions?  Even the Bible says that God is just and allows good things to happen to both the just and the unjust. And I'm not insinuating that this Muslim woman is unjust as I'm sure that's how you'll interpret my comment.  Good things happen to people, no matter what religious persuasion they are.  Just like bad things happen to people in spite of their religious beliefs.  I'm sure there were many people who call themselves Christian who died in the recent hideous tsunami.  The greatest miracle there is that they are at this moment in the presence of God.

Wait a minute! You mean Christians don't have the miracle market cornered? Boy, this shakes me to my foundation!  Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas. And praise to Allah for this gift of a child. I hope some reporter does follow up stories for age 5 /10 and 16 birthdays
