Passionflower, not sure about the snow, talked to my 16 year-old who stayed

behind.  She said it was cold but didn't mention the snow.  We have been doing double family duty as always happens when visiting at Christmastime.   I love my brother and his wife and baby.  She is Korean born.  Their little boy (toddler) is smart and quick.  The desert is unbelievable.  Last night I was standing in the bathroom trying to pee and carry on a conversation at the same time, at like 3:00 A.M.  I was looking out the window and saw a huge shooting star.  It just took my breath away.  I don't know why the desert in winter is so powerful but it is.  Thanks for reading.

This is unusual and strangely alluring - I love it! I also heard you midwesterners got record snowfalls yesterday.
