I'm with you Sarooster:
Reading the mundane occurances in other people's lives can sometimes bring home how much I have in common (or not) with other people. It creates a bond...let's me know I'm not alone.

I love reading the journals too. It's the small differences I enjoy as well as the big similarities. Just like being a fly on the wall sometimes, but an invited one, one that's not going to get swatted.
