I have had tears come to my eyes from seeing

in an urban setting, a road lined on either side with the most glorious trees.  The sun was going down and the wind was having its way with every single leaf.  The sight was extraordinary.  I have also become quite overwhelmed at the sight of the Pacific Ocean from many a beach here in San Diego.  I am at a loss really to know why the beauty of nature can move me so.  It is proof that the eyes can do much more than just see... Nice post GoldenMean...

Comming home from...

school around my 16th birthday to discover a beautiful cat sitting on our living room chair. A gift from my parents. He was one I had seen twice at the human society. The second time we went back, I told my mom "look, Max is still here!".  We connected the first time I saw him. He was a mess though, I couldn't believe it was the same cat at first, but my parents said when they went to get him, they were told that he was the only cat pleasant enough for them to send to the old people's home for a visit, so they waited for him to come back. He had been bathed and brushed before his visit to the home.
