Bravo and well said!  The arrogance and presumption of the left is what lost them the last election.  As a Canadian, I couldn't have been happier with the outcome of YOUR election.  I just don't think people should be lamenting the times that we live in all that much keeping in mind that the 'good ol' days' for your nation included widespread racism and discrimination.

Sarooster
With only one reading, I am certainly missing out. I shall correct that. This is a good post, very good.

good post and comments.
Very true, the U.S. has always been looked at as the country setting the "moral tone" for the rest of the world, but we are sorely lacking in that area ourselves. It's hard to set an example when we're "playing the harlot".

I agree with that.

With all that we have going for us in the U.S. we can still do much better. The rest of the world sees us, for better or worse, as the big dog. We just have to get our act together and act right toward everyone and they will live in peace with us. There will be a few confrontations, but until we can all live as one big happy family in the good old U.S. the world will view us with a wary eye.

I agree, our values have taken such a dive into the world of trash
I don't know what it will take to get them back to where they were in the 50's, 60's and 70's with our families, schools, religion, sports and entertainment just to name a few areas but if the USA is to maintain its integrity in the eyes of the world, it better start working here with the problems we have and stop trying to change the world. They may see our own mess and say, "They want us to be like them?"
