She once called the governor to complain about a company that was dumping crud into a river and he ordered them to stop. In another case, a neighborhood association called her to complain that the new Wal-Mart was going to cut down a tree grove, and she intervened and saved a bunch of trees.

littlemspickles I knew Walmart would have all the little nicknack patty wack stocking stuffers, and they did but it surely is an experience

i'm terrible when it comes to christmas shopping
because i hat the crowds of people at the shops i tend to buy online or at smaller shops and arcades where there will be no annoying people taking the car parks or walking in front of me when i'm in a hurry. I am prepared to spend a few extra dollars just for my sanity even though the bargain hunter inside me cringes when it sees me paying full price when the same item is advertised cheaper at a discount store.

Wow.. your walmart sucks!
I go to the one up here in Massachusetts near where I live and it's actually pretty great! Clean, neat and it does have a fastlane. I would never go to the one you describe! I can't blame you for feeling that way.
